Chengbruk

It is a traditional musical instrument of the Karbi tribe in Assam. It is essentially a bamboo flute, typically made from a specific type of bamboo called “kalkathi.” The Chengbruk has seven holes and is played by blowing air into it while covering and uncovering the holes to produce different notes. It’s commonly used in Karbi folk music and cultural ceremonies, adding a melodious and traditional touch to the music.
